What is its functionality?

The system may be delivered in various configurations and functionalities.

•Hydraulic Cylinders and accumulators absorb landing loads
•Possibility for vertical levelling may be incorporated
•Clamps lock jacket to pile, and jacket can be left at site
•Heavy lift vessel is then free to leave site
•System controls relative movement between pile and
jacket through grouting and “Early Age Cycling” phase
•It provides electrical continuity between jacket and pile

What is its benefits?

Heavy lift vessel is free to leave site immediately after completed lifting operation. Grouting
and other work done from separate and significantly cheaper secondary vessel

•Save cost: HLV is the main cost driver in installation. Dramatic reduction in installation
time is proven
•Increased total capacity: HLV availability is projected to be one of the main bottlenecks in
coming years
•Short turn around time for vessel allow useful utilization of narrow weather windows.

Removing planning constraints in project execution: Lifting operation dependent on fab
yard deliveries only.
